Moving to Puglia was founded by Maurizio Cavaliere, a globetrotting Italian, who settled back in Monopoli, Puglia, the land of his Nonno, in 2023. We are a team of experienced expats who understand the challenges of relocating to Italy. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our clients.
We offer personalised support and guidance to help you settle into your new home in Puglia. Our services include assistance with paperwork, searching for properties to rent, translation services, and cultural orientation. We believe that moving to Italy should be a dream come true and we will help you make it exactly that.
Maurizio's relocation story
Before my relocation to Puglia, I worked in the banking sector, in Italy and Australia and have always traveled a lot. In 2015 I took a trip to Australia and, by chance, on the last day of my holiday, I met my wife.
In 2023, I relocated to Puglia from Sydney with my Irish wife and Australian born son. I understood how difficult it can be for a foreigner to move to Italy (particularly the South of Italy). That's why I set up Moving to Puglia. I want to help make the move less stressful and help my clients enjoy the adventure that moving to Italy is!
My job is to help you with everything related to bureaucracy and possible difficulties with the Italian language.
